Allison Lee, Partner

With a varied and distinguished portfolio that has included journalism, major market book publishing, nonprofit and trade association administration, as well as government service at the local, state and federal levels, Allison Lee exemplifies the unique combination of government affairs and communications expertise that is PLA’s essence.

Allison has held key staff positions with the New York State Assembly, the United States House of Representatives and has served two New York State mayors in key economic development capacities.  In 1998, she was appointed by then US Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary – and current NYS Attorney General – Andrew Cuomo as his Acting Secretary’s Representative responsible for both New York and New Jersey.  Prior to joining PLA, Allison served as the Executive Director of the Association of Public Broadcasting Stations of New York, which included advancing the legislative and public relations interest of Thirteen/WNET, the nations largest and most prestigious public television station.

Allison’s understanding of government functions at all levels, coupled with years of direct and hands on experience in the media, positions her uniquely to further the legislative and public relations needs of PLA’s clients.
